Many of our buildings have received positive recognition in the form of design awards and media coverage. Western Design is a chartered practice with the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).

Our main emphasis is on design excellence. We are a versatile practice designing in both contemporary and traditional styles. Disciplines include:
New Build & Self-build house design; Conversion, refurbishment and renovation; Luxury houses; Affordable housing; Urban planning, development and multiple housing schemes; Housing association; Sustainable buildings; Extensions, Conservatories and alterations; Educational and school buildings; Community buildings and centres; Landscape design and Interior design.

We also have expertise in listed buildings, conservation areas, restoration and repair of existing buildings. Western Design are Conservation Architects with Principal Architect Phil Easton being accredited on the RIBA Conservation Register. WDA also have an ongoing active interest in sustainable design & technologies. We enjoy the challenge of problematic sites and difficult planning issues.
