1,110,000 acres

Teledyne cofounder Henry Singleton (1916—1999) was the driving force behind the creation of SINGLETON RANCHES. Born on a small ranch north of Fort Worth, he rekindled these ties in 1986 when he acquired the San Cristobal Ranch near Santa Fe. Additional acquisitions followed. The Singletons currently own 1.1 million acres, principally in New Mexico but also in California. In 2018, Singleton Ranches won the Coors Ranch Rodeo Championship for the third year in a row. In addition to bragging rights, the three-peat means that the trophy (at left) was officially retired. Congratulations!
