Then he branched out into hospitality; the late billionaire’s portfolio of posh properties includes Idaho’s Sun Valley Resort, Utah’s Snowbasin Resort, and Salt Lake City’s award-winning Grand America Hotel. Holding’s legacy burns brightly, thanks to the efforts of his wife, Carol, and their three children, who maintain the family’s working cattle ranch that stretches from Southern Montana into Northern Wyoming.
