They missed the dock with this article that was supposed to single out the top cities to start your own company.Instead it reads like the Golden Oldies from the High Tech Hall of Fame. No. 1 – Bellevue, WA – made a lot of sense 20 years ago when Microsoft was getting going next door in Redmond. A decade later, so did No. 2 – Georgetown, TX – when Dell was relocating its headquarters from Austin. The high tech trifecta runs full circle with No. 66: San Jose. Do these guys not know that broadband is now available in Middleburg, VA? Or that there are thousands of college grads looking for jobs in Boulder, CO? Or that the quality of life in Walla Walla, WA, is bringing new businesses to Eastern Washington?
