Minnesota Agricultural Land Tops $14,000 per Acre

The 336-acre estate of Kenneth Mueller sold for an average of $8,200 per acre at auction ($2.75 million total), including equipment, machinery, and crops. Alvin Kohner and Sons oversaw the sale. One 27-acre tract north of I-90 near Wilson averaged $14,000 per acre. By comparison, in 2011, the market for productive farmland in Winona County topped out at $7,500 to $8,000 per acre.
