Why: The firm is extremely knowledgeable in agricultural properties and knows how to move Midwest farmland, even in last year’s challenging market. “Due to the aggressiveness of the marketplace, approximately 90 percent of our land sales have been by auction,” notes Charles Wingert, ALC.
Wow: Wingert also points out that farmland sale prices set new highs throughout 2011 with a year-over-year gain of 15 percent.
