Insights: “The $1 million-plus tracts of land moved better toward the end of 2011 with some of the largest sales in our history closing in late 2011. Tillable ground continues to be a huge draw, but we are seeing ‘pure’ recreational tracts starting to move again. Buyers and sellers are starting to realign,” says CEO and President Chris Hawley.
